This November from the 3rd to the 30th the National Department of Health is going on a Child Health catch up drive in communities where we have many children who did not receive their life saving immunisations, and other health services.
NO CHILD
should be left behind and in sickness, immunizations are safe, effective, and critical for all children.
THE SLOGAN

“It’s never too late to immunize the child” means that even if the children missed a scheduled immunisation, they can still get it and be protected.
REMEMBER TO
bring your child’s RtHB (clinic card), if you lost the card, a replacement will be given.
The Department of Health is dedicated to protecting all children and bridging the immunization gap.
Hey there, mama, baba, gogo, mkhulu, auntie nomalume! Have you wondered why we hear more and more news about measles outbreaks, or even diphtheria? This is because more and more children are missing their childhood immunisations – leaving them vulnerable to serious illness, or even death from preventable diseases.
Have you heard about the Immunization Catch Up Drive campaign led by the Department of Health?
It is an amazing initiative that aims to raise awareness, promote the importance of immunizations and to immunize all children who have missed important lifesaving immunizations across our beautiful country.
Let us join hands and ensure that every child and individual in South Africa has access to the lifesaving protection that immunizations provide. Look out for a health facility and mobile clinic near you, together, we can make a difference!
Vaccines save lives. Let’s all work together to make sure every child gets the protection they need.
